Reports - Healthy Homes Screen

The healthy homes standards introduce specific and minimum standards for heating, insulation, ventilation, moisture ingress and drainage, and draught stopping in rental properties in New Zealand (Tenancy Services 2021: https://www.tenancy.govt.nz/healthy-homes/about-the-healthy-homes-standards/)

This solution will explain how to view and export the Healthy Homes data recorded in Chintaro. The exported data can be used for reports directly. You can also use the exported data as a Word Merge data source to create a form of Healthy Homes Statement. This solution details:

Viewing the Healthy Homes screen

To view the Healthy Homes screen, from the Home screen, select Reports and Exports, then NZ Reports and Healthy Homes.

Due to the large number of Healthy Homes data fields, Chintaro has some pre-set Saved Views available on the Manage Healthy Homes screen: All Fields, Draughts and Moisture Ingress, General, Heating, Insulation and Ventilation.

To select a saved view, click the down arrow on the Saved Views drop down list, select the view you require:

Each saved view displays the fields related to that aspect of the Healthy Homes data eg Insulation

Adding to the Healthy Homes Screen

To add Healthy Homes data to your properties, double click on the property to be updated to display the property record

Click the Healthy Homes button to display the Healthy Homes screen. For more information about entering data in the Healthy Homes fields, see this solution: Recording Healthy Homes Statements in Chintaro

To return to the Manage Healthy Homes screen, select the Exit button at the top of the Property screen or the 'Exit this screen' Arrow at the top left of the screen 

Reporting from the Manage Healthy Homes Screen

To create a report(export) from the Manage Healthy Homes screen, display a Preset or customised Saved View, then select the Export button:

The data will be exported to Excel and displayed on screen. You can save the export as required or use it as the data source for a Word Merge statement of your design.
