Reports - NRS Asset List (AUS)

Modified on Tue, 6 Sep, 2022 at 1:40 PM

Before running the NRS Asset List report, you will need to ensure that you've:

1. Entered NRS data in to each of the Properties that are part of Programs you want to report on, and
2. Saved the template for the report (attached at the bottom of this Solution) to your Chintaro\Data\Templates folder (*Non-Chintaro Cloud users only. Chintaro will have done this for you if you are a Cloud user).

After you've completed these 2 steps, you will be able to run the NRS Asset List from Chintaro. This solution details:

Entering NRS Data on the Property Screen

From the Home Screen, click Properties, then Manage Properties. Double click on the Property row to open the Property screen.

Click Reporting in the blue buttons at the top of the screen and enter all relevant data in the NRS data section:

NOTE: The NRS data fields required are in this section, along with various other fields and screens in Chintaro. Data must be entered for all properties that are part of programs you want to report on. Click here to see which fields need to be entered to successfully populate the NRS Asset List.

Viewing the data in Chintaro before running the report

Chintaro SQLx includes preset views of the Manage Properties screen that enables you to view the data in Chintaro before running the NRS report. From the Home Screen, click Properties, then Manage Properties. Below the blue buttons is the Saved Views section where you can select 'NRS Asset List (Preset)' view.

This will allow you to see the columns for the report and amend any data by seeing gaps, opening the Property row, amending the data and returning to the Manage Properties screen.  (*Note: This is only possible if you are running the SQL version of Chintaro).

Running the NRSCH Asset List Report

After you've entered the NRS data on the Property screens and saved the NRSCHAssetPlan.xls template to your Chintaro\Data\Templates folder (instructions below), you can run the NRSCH Asset List report.

From the Home Screen> Reports and Exports> NRS Asset List and the following screen will open:

Output Folder: Select where you'd like the report to be saved by clicking the button with the 3 dots.

Output Filename: Will default to NRSCHReport, but you are able to change the report name if you wish.

Report Program Filter: This is a multi-select box, where you can click to highlight the Programs you want to be included in the NRS Report. Selecting no programs will run the report for all programs.

When you're ready, click Create Report.

Microsoft Excel will open and populate the NRS fields from Chintaro to the template and the template will close when completed. Chintaro will also advise that the file was created successfully:

Saving the NRSCH Asset Plan Template to your Chintaro\Data\Templates folder (*Non Chintaro Cloud users only)

Before you run the NRS Asset List report, you must save the report template NRSCHAssetPlan.xlsx to your Chintaro\Data\Templates folder which is located on your network. The NRSCHAssetplan.xlsx template is attached to the bottom of this Solution.

Downloading the template will save it to your Downloads folder, where you can right-click and 'Copy' it, then go to your Chintaro\Data\Templates folder and 'Paste' it in there.

*Note: If you are a Chintaro Cloud user, Chintaro Support would have added this template to your Data folder already.

If you get an error message saying the template does not exist

If you've tried to run the NRSCH Asset List report, and you've received an error message from Chintaro (below), you have not saved the template to your Chintaro\Data\Templates folder:

Scroll back up to the section 'Saving the NRSCH Asset Plan Template to your Chintaro\Data\Templates folder (*Non Chintaro Cloud users only)' above and save the attached template before re-running the report.
