What's new in the May 2020 release?

This solution details the enhancements made to the May 2020 versions of Chintaro. The changes to SQL are at the top, and Access at the bottom.

Chintaro SQL Enhancements

System Enhancements:

Save View Preferences added to every Manage/Search Screen: Ability to save the view (columns, ordering, column width etc) of each Manage Screen to create customized reports for each user to Chintaro. More information found in this link: How to Create and Use Saved Views
Chintaro now supports more screen resolutions: Screens now support a wider selection of screen resolutions (specifically laptop and small screens). Scroll bars added to assist in scrolling where it does not fit to one screen.
Related Links Updated: Related links will now hyperlink to the link name provided at time of inputting under "Add Link". This allows easier and more concise display of links through out Chintaro.
Increased Size of Bulletin on Home Screen: For increased internal messages to Chintaro users, by the organisation: System Maintenance: Bulletin Update

Client Enhancements:

HNZC changed to Kainga Ora on Client screen: As per organisation re-branding in New Zealand:

Finance Enhancements:

Various changes to Tenancy Balances screen: Include:
1. RenttCalculated To' label changed to Rent Charged To Current (like on the Tenancy Screen).
2. Change ID to Tenancy ID
3. Fix typo in RentBalanceAccued
4. Add Room ID and Property ID
5. Add Weekly Rent (As At)
6. Add a new column - Rent Charged to As At date. That would be the ToDate in the last txn <= As At Date
'Owner' field from Property screen added to Tenancy Balances screen and Arrears Management screens
Added Sun Accounts GL Export: for Wellways Australia Ltd.

Property Enhancements:

All property exports showing 'Landlord' will now show 'Property Manager': As per Chintaro field names.
New Fields added to Manage Properties Screen: Lease Term, Charge To, Payment Status, Lease Payment, Frequency, Lease Options, Annual Increase, Agent, Market Rent, Weekly Rent, Occupancy Status
New Fields added to Manage Rooms: Txn Type names now appear, Vacancy Reason, Number of Days Vacant, Region, Property Manager, Program, ISIP, Alerts, Owner

Property Maintenance Enhancements:

<<CurrentUser>> field added to Maint.txt file: Field added to text file for using in work orders. Please note, before this merge field will appear in your Maint.txt file, you must run a work order first.
Several fields added to Manage Maintenance Tasks screen for reporting/exporting: Fields added: Created by, Tenant Name, Tenant Phone, Tenant Availability

Report and Export Enhancements:

NRSCH Asset List enhancements: Several changes made to the NRSCH Asset List including:
1. Change of name in form in Chintaro from NRS Asset Plan to NRS Asset List
2. Development of correct fields and formatting required by NRS
Client Incomes All Current export added: Reports and Exports > Exports > Clients > Client Incomes All Currrent:
Finance GL Export for Tech One for Water and Rent added: Reports and Exports > Exports > Finance > Uniting SA Tech One Rent & Uniting SA Tech One Water:

Non Rent Payments and Charges Activity Report: Reports and Exports > Reports > Finance > Non Rent Payments and Charges Activity:
Arrears Report now caters for arrears over $10,000: Previously cut off.

System Maintenance Enhancements:

Improved message for incorrect region: When a user's region is not set to Australia/New Zealand, Chintaro will display a red warning message on the Home Screen which will now define the Country Code the database is connected to:

Tenancy Enhancements:

BPay Biller Code information added to bottom of Tenancy Statement: If biller code entered in System Maintenance > Reference Tables > Parameters > BpayBillerCode > Parm Number column, Chintaro will populate bottom of Tenancy Statement (other than NSW and SA) with box for Bpay Biller Code and Reference (Reference will populate Payment Book ID on Tenancy):
Tenancy Balances screen: Added Last Payment Amount, As At Date and Owner to Screen for export.
Arrears Management screen: Added Owner to screen for export.
NSW Tenancy Statement Update: Added 'CR'/'DR' to Non Rent section and colored DR red to highlight arrears (MRRAHMS).

Bug fixes:

Print Bulk Statements error - fixed.
View Bank Account (1 line) screen error when opening screen- fixed.
Reports and Exports > NSW Reports > CHACA Report > Any Tenancies Within A Reporting Period not populating report correctly - fixed.
Reports and Exports > Exports > Tenancies > Tenancy (Active with Current Rent and Income) error - fixed.
Reports and Exports > Reports > Tenancies > Rent Arrears Concise (As At) rounding error - fixed.
Reports and Exports > NSW Reports > FACS AHO Reporting > AHO Occupant export column header error - fixed
Scroll bar missing on Toolbar > Manage Tenancies, Manage Maintenance Tasks, Manage Waiting List, Manage Tradespeople - fixed.
Search screen > change width of column > save view not saving - fixed.
Include fields for Property Lease payment and frequency on 'Lease/Bond and Charges' section of Property screen
Manage Properties default view shows no properties - fixed.
Tenancies> Bulk email statements> Note Type unable to enter note title or note text - fixed.
Tenancies>Bond Transactions> Bond Balances section> To Be Lodged balance was 0.00 until the first bond lodgement transaction was entered - fixed.
Maintenance Task > Forecast Maintenance Task button not appearing - fixed.
Properties> filter by Property Manager > Re-assign Property Manager was not working - fixed.
Finance> Bank functions> Multi-Bank Processing> error when clicking the export button - fixed.

Bug Fixes:

AHO Report - date formatting issue that caused Vacancies to appear wrong - fixed.
Home > Reports and Exports > Reports > Tenancies > Bond Balances (Current Tenancies) was including all tenancies - fixed.
Add maintenance task from the property screen when the System Maitnenance> Preferences> Maintenance> Default to General was set to 'No', was copying information from an old Maintenance task - fixed.
