What's New in the February 2020 release?

HOME SCREEN Enhancements:

• Running Latest Version. A note has been added to the Chintaro Home screen to help you identify if you are running the latest version of Chintaro
  

CLIENT Enhancements:

• New function to copy client notes: Used when you need to transfer the note history from an old primary tenant to a new primary tenant, see Solution: How to copy all Notes from one Client to another Client
• Arrears word merge can now be selected from the Manage Tenancy screen: Home > Manage Tenancies > Word Merge
  
• New NDIS fields available on Client >NDIS screen: Home> Clients> Manage Clients> NDIS. See solution: Client Screen - NDIS Requirements - SDA
• New screen for Client Contacts has been added that combines previous Next of Kin screen and Support Agencies screen: Home> Clients> Manage Clients> Income Details> Contacts. See the solution: Client Contacts
• Gender field has been added to Client SMS screen: Home> Client> Client SMS

TENANCY Enhancements

• Bonds transactions screen now includes strict bond amount transactions and direct bond lodgement to the authority: Home> Tenancies> Manage Tenancies> Bond Transactions. See solution:
  
• Gender field has been added to the Manage Tenancy screen and to the Tenancy SMS screen: Home> Tenancies> Manage Tenancies and Home> Tenancies> Tenant SMS
• Band field has been added to the Manage Tenancy screen: Home> Tenancies> Manage Tenancies

FINANCE Enhancements:

• New GL format added:  The new format is called MYOB v19 Alt. Home> System Maintenance> Preferences> Finance> General Ledger Format:
  

• Preference to edit Property Transactions added:  When the System Maintenance> Preferences> Finance> Allow transaction edit is set to Yes property transactions can now be updated. When the preference is set to No the Date, Transaction Type, Amount and GSTAmount cannot be updated.
• A new Manage Bonds screen has been added: Finance> Manage Bonds
  

PROPERTY Enhancements:

• New property condition fields have been added: Property Condition and Condition Rating Date have been added to the Main Property screen. Home> Properties> Manage Properties> Property Screen.
  Property Condition is a drop-down list and the options can be entered in System Maintenance> Reference Tables> Asset Condition.
  The Strata Company field has been moved to Additional Details
  The Charged To field has been removed from the Main Property Screen since it has been relocated to the Lease/Bond and Charges screen in an earlier release.
• Maintenance Type field has been added to Manage Inventory Items screen: Home> Properties> Manage Inventory Items

REPORT & EXPORT Enhancements:

• New finance export YWCA BI export: Home > Reports & Exports > Exports> Finance> BI Export (YWCA): Summarises tenancy transactions by type for a date range.  
• New tenancies export Average Charges, Market Rents and Lost Amounts export: (OCHT) Home > Reports & Exports > Exports> Tenancies> Average Charges, Market Rents and Lost Amounts: Lists averages of daily rent and charges, and weekly market rent, and lists days vacant and lost rent and lost market rent for a date range with selection by program or owner both optional. 
  
• Rent Balance Accrued has been added to the Tenancy Balances by Txn Group As At Date export: HOME > Reports & Exports > Exports> Tenancies > Tenancy Balances by Txn Group As At Date
• Various tables included in Chintaro Insights Export file. Reports & Exports> Chintaro Insights Export.

SYSTEM MAINTENANCE Enhancements

• Preference to add Inspection Note when creating Inspection: In System Maintenance > Preferences > Maintenance. Turn to 'No' if you do not want an action note created on the Property when creating inspection records. 

• Tenancy balance not transferring to new tenancy for some tenants.  Fixed.
• Opening the Tenancy screen for some databases was slow.  Fixed.
• Tenancy screen > Lease Details> Lease type drop-down list included inactive lease types. Fixed
• Reports and exports>Reports> Finance> Owners Summary As At report was not printing correctly.  Fixed.
• Reports and exports> Reports> Finance> Owner Activity Summary was running slowly for some users. Fixed.
• Reports and exports>Exports> Finance> Current Income and Rents by Property error message. Fixed.
• Reports and exports>Reports> Property and Maintenance> Inspections Details to show current tenant names. Fixed.
• Search Columns in Manage Rooms Screen. Fixed.
• Reports and exports> Exports> Property and Maintenance> Client Counts By Property As At was including inactive clients linked to the primary tenant. Fixed.
• Reports and exports> Reports> Tenancies> Rent in Arrears (Concise) As At Date was not working if filtered by Tenancy manager. Fixed
• Bank Import file format Westpac (BOM) CSV  was not matching Payment book ID correctly. Fixed.
• TotalCRA field was missing from Tenancy word merges. Fixed.
• There was a problem sending an email to a Tradesperson. Fixed.
• Manage Maintenance Tasks screen export was including hidden fields. Fixed. 
• TradeCompliance field was missing from Maintenance WorK Order emails. Fixed.
• SaftelyLastChecked was wrong in Inventory Items. Fixed.
• Tenancy letters were duplicating from some users. Fixed. 

Chintaro Access Enhancements

• New preference setting for Maint Email Heading Extra allows for a selection of additional characters from the Maintenance Task Instructions top line to be added to the Maintenance Email Subject line. The additional characters will be added to the email Subject field if the Maint Email Heading field is set to Yes. Home> System Maintenance> Preferences>Maintenance. 

Bug Fixes:

Unable to set default frequency for forecast maintenance tasks. Fixed.

TenancyComments field was missing from the Tenancy word merge. Fixed.

Manage Maintenance Tasks screen export was including hidden fields. Fixed. 

Manage Inventory Items screen export was including hidden fields. Fixed.

Filter by work order number for Copy Notes function of Property Maintenance Notes was not filtering as expected. Fixed.
