What's New in the March 2020 release?

This solution details the enhancements made to the March 2020 versions of Chintaro. The changes to SQL are at the top, and Access at the bottom.

Chintaro SQL Enhancements

Overall Enhancements

• LAPTOP RESOLUTION: All Chintaro screens are being formatted to work with 1366x768 resolution, which means that laptop users should see the whole screen.
• SAVE MULTIPLE SEARCHES ON MANAGE SCREENS: Now each user can save and select different views on each of the Manage screens. Chintaro will also provide some standard views for Statutory Report fields.

Finance Enhancements:

• TENANCY BAND FIELD ADDED TO 2 SCREENS:  MRRHMS. Finance > Tenancy Transaction Functions > Manage Tenancy Transactions and Finance > Tenancy Balances. 
  
  

Tenancy Enhancements:

• RENT CALCULATOR PRINT:  Room, Property Name and Market Rent calculation details have been added to the Rent Calculator Print report. There are 2 ways to get to the Rent Calculator, either through Tenancy screen> Rent Calculator> Print or by going in thorugh Client screen> Income Details> Rent Calculator> Print.
  
  
• MULTIPLE TRANSACTIONS TO PRINT ON RECEIPT AND INVOICE TEMPLATE: Adding the templates in the following solution will enable Chintaro to add multiple charges/payments from the same date to the one invoice/receipt: Setting up a Receipt or Invoice Template to show multiple charges/payments
• PARAMETER TO INCLUDE PROPERTY NAME ON TENANCY SCREEN: Useful for organisations who have a Property Name different to the street address. To set, go to System Maintenance > Reference Tables > Parameters > CAI > Parm Number column > Change to -1:
  

• JOBSEEKER AND JOBKEEPER INCOMES ADDED

Property Maintenance Enhancements:

• SCAN REFERENCE FIELD ADDED:  New field added to completion details. Property Maintenance > Manage Property Maintenance > Maintenance Task> Completion Details.
  
  
• GL POSTING CODE FIELD ADDED: New field added to completion details, for Salvation Army Housing only (Home> System Maintenance> Reference table > Parameters> SAH is set to 1) Property Maintenance> Manage Property Maintenance> Maintenance Task > Completion Details. 

Inventory Enhancements:

• CONDITION FIELD ADDED:  New field added to inventory. Properties > Manage Inventory Items.

Report and Export Enhancements: 

• Status Untenantable sub-status field added to Vacancy Report: Found in Reports and Exports > Exports > Property & Maintenance > Vacancy Report. 

• NRSCH ASSET PLAN UPDATED: - The new version of the NRSCH Asset Plan is now compatible
  
  
• NSW FACS AHO REPORTING: - This version provides the files the AHO requires for reporting

Chintaro Insights Enhancements:

• Additional exports made available for analysis in Chintaro Insights

Maintenance Manager Enhancements:

• Remove API key parameters and store the file path on the upload  screen 

• Forecast Task screen on the Property screen was slow to load for some Chintaro users.  Fixed.
• Manage Inventory Items screen export was including hidden fields. Fixed. 
• Double-clicking on an Overdue Maintenance task type on the Home screen was not opening to the filtered view in the Manage Maintenance Tasks screen. Fixed.
• Default SMS Text for Work Orders not populating. Fixed
• New Water Charge Transaction not refreshing on tenancy screen. Fixed
• The report Home > Reports and Exports > Reports > Finance > Accrued Charges and Rent Payments Summary was including non-rent in the balance. Fixed
• KPM Report Error 3061. Fixed
• Various Issues with Manage Bonds Screen. Fixed
• Security settings would not apply to the Vacant Untenantable Rooms screen. Fixed.
