Linking Chintaro with Bricks & Agent
Before you can use the Bricks & Agent (B&A) - Chintaro integration, you must have an account set up with B&A and have the necessary credentials set up in Chintaro's System Maintenance.
When B&A have supplied you with credentials, your Chintaro System Administrator can enter them into the system. From the Home Screen > System Maintenance > Reference Tables > Parameters. Scroll down until you reach the Parameters beginning with B&A_:
In the Parm Text column, enter the Branch ID, Organisation ID and Organisation Name you have been provided.
Next, go gown to the Webservicedb parameter and make sure that there is a value in the Parm Text field:
If not, contact Chintaro Support and advise you require the Web Service Database name for B&A integration.
There are 3 other preferences you need to set before you begin the B&A process. From this screen, click the back button and go to System Maintenance > Preferences > Maintenance. The 3 highlighted preferences you need to set are:
Use Known As Name =Select if you would like B&A to use the Chintaro 'Known As Name', rather than 'First Name.
Confirmed for Payment = Select if you would like the 'Confirmed for Payment' button ticked for imported Maintenance Tasks.
Make Tasks Inactive = Select if you would like the imported tasks back from B&A to be set to Active (open) tasks, or you can choose to have the tasks imported as Inactive (closed) task
Once you have entered these credentials, you are ready to use the Bricks & Agent screens in Chintaro.
Exporting Property and Tenancy Data from Chintaro
