What's new in the December 2018 release?

This solution details the enhancements made to the December 2018 versions of Chintaro. The changes to SQL are at the top, and Access at the bottom.


Chintaro SQL Enhancements


Property Enhancements:

  • New Manage Rooms screen added:  Enhancement for new Manage Rooms screen to easily view the status of each Room in Chintaro, which is in Home > Properties > Manage Rooms:
  • Schedule Inspections - 2 columns added for Next of Kin: Enhancement for Disability Service Providers to be able to contact the Client's Next of Kin 1 and 2 (name and phone for each):


Reports and Exports Enhancements:

  • New Zealand Ministry of Social Development Reports (Monthly and Quarterly) now available to run from Chintaro: MSD reports regarding Emergency Housing Residents and Rooms can now be populated from Chintaro. Click here to see more information about the set up and running of these reports.
  • NSW CaPMH Report various enhancements: the following enhancements have been made to the individual reports:
    Residents Report: Clients with no income will now have the income field populated with 0 instead of blank
    Dwellings Report: Only single numbers will be populated for number and any letters will be stripped (as per CaPMH Requirements). EG 1A will now be 1
    Dwellings Report: Only single number will be populated for a number that has a hyphen EG 17-19 will now show as 17 (as per CaPMH Requirements)
    Households Report: Main Source of Income column added to System Maintenance > Reference Tables > Income > CaPMH Income Source needs to be selected for all Centrelink incomes:


System Maintenance Enhancements:

  • Guiding Text in System Preferences changed to text box: Enhancement created to make room for more Preferences in future. To see any clues about fields, hover your cursor over highlighted field and the text box will appear:


  • Column added to export Accrued Rent Charges and Payments: Tenancy Status column added to export (requested by MC):


Bug Fixes:

  • Tenancy Transaction Bulk Data Entry screen: total wasn't updating when importing a file - fixed. 
  • Property Screen > Owner button: Nothing happened when clicking - fixed and now takes user to Owner's screen.
  • Manage Tenancies screen: Bond Reference quickfind search wouldn't select numbers when using keypad on right hand side f extended keyboard - fixed. 
  • Tenancy Screen: Loss of field for Tenancy Start Date when creating - fixed.
