Reports - CHaCA report (QLD)

The Community Housing and Crisis Accommodation (CHaCA) report is run by users in Queensland and submitted either quarterly or bi-annually (depending on the period) to the Department of Communities, Housing and Digital Economy. This solution details: 


Checking the requirements before running the CHaCA report

Before you run the CHaCA Report, you must ensure that you have set up both Chintaro and the report template correctly. To check the template is set up correctly, click this link: How to Set Up Chintaro To Run the CHACA Report.

Running the CHaCA report

To run the CHaCA Report, from the Home screen, click Reports and Exports, then Qld Reports and open the CHACA Report screen.


The Start of Financial Year Date will populate to the start date of the last financial year.


Select the Reporting Period that you wish to report on. After selecting a Reporting Period, Chintaro will populate the End of Report Period Date:


Select the location you would like to save the report to in the Output Folder field, by clicking the ellipsis button (with the 3 dots) and navigating to somewhere on your PC/network:



Enter a name for the report in the Output Filename field (this will default to CHACA Report):



Click the Create Report button and Chintaro will advise you when the report has been created. 


Help! I'm having issues with the CHaCA Report


'Template does not exist' message

If you have attempted to run the CHACA Report and you get a message from Chintaro advising that 'The CHACATemplate.xlsx template does not exist', it means that you have not downloaded the CHACA Template and copied it to your Chintaro\Data\Templates folder. No Data in CHaCA Report
