If you are managing properties on behalf of owners, you will want to provide them with income and expense reports or exports to show them the income and expense of each of the properties. This solution offers several reports and exports they may find useful. This solution covers:

Running income and expense reports
Reports in Chintaro are in a paper based format. To see the income and expense reports in Chintaro, from the Home Screen, click Reports and Exports, then Reports, and Finance.
If you would like an Income and Expense report that shows the owner the total income, expense and amounts of each Property by transaction type, select the Property Income and Expense report.
Select the Property you would like to print the report for in the Select Criteria at the bottom of the screen (or leave blank to report on ALL properties) and enter the Start Date and End Date of the period you want to report on.
Click Preview and the report will show in a print preview:
If you are looking for a summary report, go back to the Reports > Finance menu and select the Property Income and Expense Summary report:
Running income and expense exports
Exports from Chintaro can be viewed in several different formats, including CSV and Excel. To see the income and expense exports in Chintaro, from the Home Screen, click Reports and Exports, then Exports, and Finance.
If you would like an Income and Expense report that shows the owner the total income, expense and amounts of each Property by transaction type, select the Property Income and Expense By Transaction Type export.
Select the Property you would like to print the report for in the Select Criteria at the bottom of the screen (or leave blank to report on ALL properties), select the Program you would like to report on from the drop down list (or leave blank to populate the export with ALL Programs) and enter the Start Date and End Date of the period you want to report on.
Click Open In Excel Now and the export will show in a Excel:
If you are looking for a summary report, go back to the Exports > Finance menu and select the Property Income and Expense Summary report and click Open In Excel Now:
Printing a statement of transactions for one property
If the owners of your properties prefer paper based reports, you have several options.
To print a ledger for a period of time, go in to the Property you'd like to print the statement for and click Property Transactions. In the middle of the screen, click the button Print Statement and an Optional Statement Start Date box will appear.
If the owner would like to see the statement for a period of time, enter the start date (EG 01/01/YEAR or 01/07/YEAR) and click Continue. The Property Ledger will appear with the oldest transaction at the top and the most recent at the bottom:
Click Print to print the statement for the owner.
