Modified on Mon, 20 Nov, 2023 at 10:30 AM

This solution details the requirements of setting up the migration between SharePoint and Chintaro to store and link files.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

What information does Chintaro need?

In order for Chintaro to be able to synchronise the data with your Sharepoint, we require the following:

  • Username and Password in your local Active Directory for us to connect through
  • URL for the folder(s) that need to be shared
  • An indication of the size of the library/SharePoint site you would like to sync

What information do Customers need?

Your IT may need to whitelist the server that Chintaro uses for synchronising.  The IP address of our server is: 52.62.212.163

What else needs to be done?

If you have been using related links to point to local files, those links will need to be updated to reflect the new location. Chintaro support can help you do that in bulk if details are provided.

Is there an additional cost?

At this stage, there is no cost for this service while it is still being trialled.  As the disk space required to store files grows, we will be reviewing the costs and passing those on to customers. We will advise of this well in advance.
