Setting Up Parameters for Chintaro Insights

Modified on Mon, 25 Jan 2021 at 12:11 PM

PLEASE NOTE: This solution is only required for non-Chintaro Cloud Users. If you are a Chintaro Cloud user, you do not need to enter these parameters in to your system.

If you are a non-Cloud user (where your data is installed locally on your network) you need to set up some parameters in Chintaro before you can get started with Chintaro Insights.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Where do I start?

Before you start with Chintaro Insights, you must first contact support@chintaro.com.au to  request an invoice for the number of licences you require.

Once your invoice is paid, we will set up a private web server database for you (if you don't already have one) and email you back with the credentials you need to enter in to Chintaro to get started.

Where do I enter my credentials from Chintaro Support?

Once you have received your credentials for Chintaro Insights from Chintaro Support, open Chintaro and from the Home Screen navigate to System Maintenance > Reference Tables >Parameters.

Scroll down until you see the Parameters beginning with 'Insights'.

Enter the parameters exactly as given to you by Chintaro Support in the Parm Text column and ensure there is no space between the text and the beginning of the Parm Text box (as below):
