Preparing Chintaro Data to run the DCJ Report

Modified on Mon, 31 Jul, 2023 at 11:49 AM

Certain housing providers in New South Wales must submit the DCJ report to Housing NSW quarterly. The report is populated by fields in Chintaro and is generated through the Reports and Exports > NSW Reports > DCJ Report screen.

When exported, the report forms 5 Excel CSV files: Dwellings, Households, Residents, Tenancies and Vacancies.

This solution explains where the information is populated from Chintaro and into the report.

Sections of the DCJ Report

Each of the CSV files that are exported contain headings in Row 1 that is data populated from Chintaro:

What information will Chintaro populate?

Chintaro will populate every column in the reports, provided you have the correct data entered in to the system before running the report. The Tenancies, Household and Vacancies files will be exported without Client Names for confidentiality.

Where does the information in the report come from in Chintaro?
