What are Property Tags and Alerts?

Tags are a way to add specific characteristics to group Properties together in Chintaro. Tags are completely customisable to suit your Organisation, and you are able to assign as many Tags to a Property record as you require. Tags are also designed to provide additional information about your Property that does not have a field in the Property record. 


Property Alerts are designed to highlight other Chintaro users about potential risks or dangers associated with a Property. Alerts are like Tags but they are designed to highlight characteristics of a Property users need to know about. 

Adding a Tag to a Property Screen

To add a Tag to a Property screen, from the Home Screen> Property> Manage Properties> double click the Property screen you want to view, then click  on the right hand side of the screen.


The Tags pop up will appear, with a list of Available Tags on the left, and Selected Tags on the right. Available Tags are Tags that you can select to characterise your Property, and the Selected Tags are the Tags that have been applied to the Properties record.

To add a Tag to a Property screen, click on the Tag you want to add from the Available Tags column, and press the  button. The Tag will move from the Available Tags column, to the Selected Tags column.


This applies for the sections of Tags, Disability Modifications, Construction Details, Utilities and Tenant Alterations.


Removing a Tag from the Property Screen

To remove a Tag from a Property screen, from the Home Screen> Property> Manage Properties> double click the Property screen you want to view, then click  on the right hand side of the screen.



The Tags pop up will appear, with a list of Available Tags on the left, and Selected Tags on the right. Available Tags are Tags that you can select to characterise your Property, and the Selected Tags are the Tags that have been applied to the Property's screen.

To remove a Tag from the Property screen, click on the Tag you wish to remove from the Selected Tags column, and click the  button. The Tag will now show in the Available Tags column, and will not show on the Property screen and click Exit to save.


Adding or Removing an Alert to/from a Property Screen

The same principal as above is used to add Property Alerts, or remove Property Alerts from the Property screen. 


Click Add/Edit Alerts to add or remove alerts from your selected Property screen. 


Adding a new Property Tag or Alert to Chintaro

Your System Administrator can add new Tags and Alerts, or remove unwanted Tags and Alerts from Home > System Maintenance > Reference Tables, and clicking the following table:


For Property Alerts > select Alerts (Property) from the Reference Table list.
For Property Tags > select Tags (Property) from the Reference Table list.
For Disability Modifications > select Disability Link from the Reference Table list.
For Construction > select Construction Link from the Reference Table list.
For Utilities > select Utilities from the Reference Table list.
For Tenant Alterations > select Alteration Link from the Reference Table list.
