- Adding and Removing Property Record Tags and Alerts from the System
Property Tags and Alerts allow you to apply a range of different characteristics to your Properties to classify them in different ways. All Tags and Alerts in Chintaro are completely customisable by your Organisation, and are useful in producing Word Merges and some Reports and Exports from Chintaro.
To add a Tag or an Alert to a Property, from the Home Screen, click Properties, then click Manage Properties and double click on the row of the Property you want to add the Tag/Alert(s) to.
Property Tags work in a similar way to Client Tags, and you can apply as many Tags are you require to a Property.
The Tags pop up will appear, with the Available List of Tags on the left, and Property List of selected Tags on the right. The Available List are Tags that you can select to characterise your Property, and the Property List are the Tags that have been applied to the Property record.
To add a Tag to a Property record, click on the Tag you wish to add in the Available List, and click the button. The Tag will move from the Available List column, to the Property List column.
To remove a Tag from the Property record, click on the Tag you wish to remove from the Property List column and click the button. The Tag will now show in the Available List column, and will not show on the Property record.
When you are finished, click EXIT to save the changes you have made. The selected Tags will now appear on the Property record.
Alerts are ways you can highlight other Chintaro users about potential harm with a Property. Alerts are like Tags, but they are more about danger. Alerts will appear on the Property record in red, to catch the eye of the Chintaro user.
The process for adding Property Alerts works in the same way as adding Property Tags
Disability Modifications is a Tag used indicate disability modifications that have been added to a Property.
Construction is a Tag used to identify the construction details of a Property.
Utilities is a Tag used to identify utilities within a Property (EG Smart Meter installed).
Tenant Alterations is used to Tag the alterations that Tenants have made within a Property (EG Letterbox).
Adding and Removing Property Record Tags and Alerts from the System
Property Tags and Alerts can easily be added or removed from the system.
From the Home Screen
Click System Maintenance
Click Reference Tables
For Property Alerts > select Alerts (Property) from the Reference Table list.
For Property Tags > select Tags (Property) from the Reference Table list.
For Disability Modifications > select Disability Link from the Reference Table list.
For Construction > select Construction Link from the Reference Table list.
For Utilities > select Utilities from the Reference Table list.
For Tenant Alterations > select Alteration Link from the Reference Table list.
