System Maintenance - Locking Client Notes to restrict changes

Chintaro has a parameter that allows your Organisation to lock Client Notes so they cannot be edited or deleted after a specified number of days.

To lock Notes, from the Home Screen, go to System Maintenance> Preferences> Tenancies/Rent tab.

Look for Lock Note for Days preference. Clicking in the box next to the words 'Lock Note for Days' will show you a description of what the field is used for:

NOTE: If there is 0 in the field, Notes can be edited forever. If you enter a 1 in the field, Notes are locked after 1 day, so a note entered yesterday cannot be edited today. If you enter a 2 in the field, Notes are locked and cannot be edited after 2 days.If you enter 365 in the field, Notes are locked and cannot be edited after 365 days.

Exit the screen to save the changes.
