Error #70: Permission Denied

Modified on Mon, 26 Sep, 2022 at 8:56 AM

If you are attempting to create a Word Merge from Chintaro and you see an 'Error #70 Permission Denied', this usually means that you (or someone else) has the Word Merge template open.

How to fix the Error #70 Permission Denied Error

1. Close the error message in Chintaro.

2. Close the Microsoft Word template that you have open. If you do not have the Microsoft Word template open, ask your colleagues if they have the template open, and if so, to close it.

3. If no-one has the template open, right click on your Taskbar on your desktop and select Task Manager. End the Microsoft Access application that is running.

4. Reopen Chintaro and click Word Merge.
