Downloading and Installing the Chintaro Mobile app to your device

Use this solution for a step by step guide on how to install the Chintaro Mobile app to your device.

Installing the app on Apple/iOS Devices 

To install the Chintaro Mobile app to your iOS device (iPhone or iPad), begin by opening the App Store icon on your phone or tablet (App Store Link):

In the Search bar, type Chintaro:


If the App Store shows results for Shintaro, click Search for chintaro instead?


When the Chintaro Mobile app appears, click the download icon on the right hand side (box with arrow pointing up) to download the app:


The app will begin downloading, and the download button will change to Open when the install has completed:


The Chintaro Mobile app will open, and you will be prompted for an API ID, Username and Password


The API ID is found in your Chintaro Classic (desktop version) database, in System Maintenance > Preferences > System > API ID field. Please ask your System Administrator to provide you with your API ID if you do not have access to this screen:


 

Please note: Access to the Chintaro Mobile app is turned off for all users by default. Your System Administrator must enable access to the app by selecting the API Enabled dropdown to Yes



Take note of the API ID in your database and enter it into your Chintaro Mobile app API ID field. The Username and Password are the same username and password you use to log into Chintaro Classic (desktop version):



Click Sign In and you will be taken to the Chintaro Mobile app home screen.


Installing the app on Android Devices

To download the Chintaro Mobile app to your Android device, go to the Google Play store and search for Chintaro, or log into the Google Play store on your internet browser and search for Chintaro


 



Click Install:



Once installed, click the Chintaro icon to launch the app. When the Chintaro Mobile app has opened, and you will be prompted for an API ID, Username and Password
