What is Chintaro Insights?

Chintaro Insights is Chintaro's Business Intelligence module.  It's a web-based platform that uses your Chintaro data to present an overall view of your business and allows you to analyse, or "drill-down" into, the data that is used to calculate your performance indicators.

Built upon the powerful Qlik*Sense platform, Chintaro Insights will allow users to analyse their data in an intuitive way and help them find insights into the running of their business.

As well as presenting standard indicators for your business, Chintaro Insights also shows how your business is currently performing against criteria used by Statutory Reporting schemes, such as the NRS across Australia, and CHIMES (KPMs) in Victoria.

What is Business Intelligence?

Business Intelligence is defined by OLAP.com as:

"The term Business Intelligence (BI) refers to technologies, applications and practices for the collection, integration, analysis, and presentation of business information. The purpose of Business Intelligence is to support better business decision-making. Essentially, Business Intelligence systems are data-driven Decision Support Systems (DSS)"

A simpler way to look at it might be that BI gives you a clear overview of how your business is performing and allows you to dig down into the detail to see why.

Chintaro Insights uses a Dashboard/Analysis model, which means that the user is presented with a dashboard, and can use that to investigate areas of concern or interest.

For example, the user might be looking at this dashboard ...

... and want to know more about the Arrears shown.

Clicking on the Arrears block takes the user through to a dedicated Arrears analysis dashboard.

The user might then want to see these figures only for Rooming Houses and Long Term Housing.  The user can filter on virtually anything shown on screen, and all of the figures and data lists will update accordingly.

Now let's say the user wants to see how one or more Tenancy Managers are doing. Clicking on one of the Tenancy Managers (Bernie Rhodes) on this screen changes all figures to only include Bernie's Tenancies.

Returning to the overview dashboard will now show all figures relating to Bernie's tenancies.
