SMS Global Redirection from HTTP to HTTPS

Modified on Thu, 07 Jul 2016 at 05:07 PM

**This solution is only intended for SMS Global Users**

This week, SMS Global notified us of a change to their HTTP/HTTPS redirection, which you can view here: http://support.smsglobal.com/customer/portal/articles/2465200-http-to-https-redirection

This is not of concern to Chintaro Users, however, there is a minor change we need to make you aware of so you can continue using your SMS service.

You will need to change the address that is stored in your System Maintenance> Reference Tables> Parameters> SMSGateway Parm Text Column. Currently, this field reads http:// (below):

You will need to put s after the http to make it https:// (below):

NOTE: Only add ‘s’ to the end of http, and leave the rest EXACTLY the same.
