Finance - Bank Account in Chintaro

Modified on Tue, 6 Sep, 2022 at 1:32 PM

After you have processed your payments via the bank processing screens, you can view your bank account in Chintaro from one of 2 screens:

1. Viewing the Bank Account screen (one line) - designed to view payments processed with no splits (rent only), or

2. Viewing the Bank Account screen (two line) - designed to view payments processed with multiple splits.

This solution also details How to process unallocated payments from either of the bank screens.

Viewing the Bank Account screen (one line)

To view your Bank Accounts in Chintaro, from the Home screen, click Finance, then Bank Functions and View Bank Accounts.

The Bank Account screen will open showing the most recent transactions are at the top of the screen. Select the Bank Account that you want to view in Step 1.

Viewing the Bank Account screen (two line)

The View Bank Accounts (2 Line) screen works in the same way as the View Bank Accounts screen, but will display 2 lines of information which includes detail regarding payment splits.

To view your Bank Accounts in Chintaro, from the Home screen, click Finance, then Bank Functions and View Bank Accounts (2 Line).

The Bank Account screen will open showing the most recent transactions are at the top of the screen. Select the Bank Account that you want to view in Step 1.

How to process unallocated payments from either of the bank screens

If you processed the file without allocating a payment to a tenant, you can allocate it from this screen. First, select Unallocated from the drop down:

Select the tenancy that the payment is for from the Tenancy column's drop down list:

Ensure the Gen Credit box is ticked (Step 2) and click the Generate Payments box at the top of the screen(Step 3):

The allocated payment will now disappear from this screen, be visible in the bank account list of transactions (clear the filter of Unallocated by clicking the drop down where the word Unallocated is and select All) and on the tenancy transactions ledger of the tenancy.
