Logging off Chintaro from Parallels Client on your PC

It's important to follow the correct log out procedure when closing Chintaro. You may also need to log out of Parallels if troubleshooting a problem or another user needs to use your Parallels ID. The steps for both are detailed below.

Logging off Chintaro


When you have finished using Chintaro, click the Home button from the top menu, then select Quit To Windows on the bottom left. **Note: Do Not click on the 'X' in the top right corner to get out of Chintaro.


A pop up will confirm that you want to Quit Chintaro.  Select Yes:


Logging out of Parallels for Desktop


First, locate your Parallels Client. 


It will look like this on your desktop:



It will also appear in your system tray like this. Double click to open:



Once you've opened Parallels Client, if your connection (left side) is blue and you can see the icons in the Info box, then you are logged in. If the connection appears as grey, then you are already logged out.



To log out, right click on your connection (where it says Chintaro above), and select Log out.



To log back in again, double click on your greyed out connection. When the connection turns blue and the icons reappear, you've logged in and reconnected to Chintaro Cloud.


Logging out of Parallels from your Web Browser


First, open your Parallels interface tab. It looks like this: 



Click on the user icon in the top right corner, and select Log Out from the dropdown:



To log back in, enter your credentials here (Parallels ID and Password). After that, you'll be logged in to Chintaro:
