From time to time, you may be unsure which version of Chintaro you are running and whether you need to update. To find out which version you are using, please log into Chintaro and see this solution.


CHINTARO ACCESS

The version number and effective date can be found on the home screen of Chintaro.  If you are a Chintaro Access user, your version will look something like this Version 2018.11.30 Access.




CHINTARO SQL

The version number and effective date can be found on the home screen of Chintaro. If you are a Chintaro SQL user, your version will look something like this Version 18.10.03 SQLx



I am not sure if we are using SQL or ACCESS?

If you are unsure what version your organisation is running you can check this from the home screen of Chintaro. If you are running CHINTARO ACCESS, the version number will look like this:



If you are running CHINTARO SQL, the version number will look like this and have 'SQL' in the title:



How do I know if my version is up to date?

Chintaro Support releases new versions on a monthly basis. You can check what the latest version is and download it from this link, Installing the Latest Version of Chintaro.


Step 1. 

Once you open the solution, you will need to identify whether or not you need the SQL or ACCESS version.

Step 2. 

Find out what version you are currently running by noting the version number on the Home screen of Chintaro.

Step 3.

Compare the version number on the Home screen with the latest version number that is available in the solution.

Step 4.

If your version is older than the version that is currently available, you will need to update it using this solution, Installing the Latest Version of Chintaro
