Chintaro has a function that enables you to change the Property Manager from one to another in bulk. This can be useful if a staff member leaves your Organisation and you don't want to go in to each Property to select the new manager.

Reassigning Properties to another Manager

NOTE: Before reassigning the Properties, you must have the Property Manager you'd like to swap them to in the system. If you're unsure how to check this, click here.

Once you have confirmed the new Property Manager is in Chintaro, access the Property Search Screen by clicking the Properties button in the toolbar or go through the Home Screen> Properties> Manage Properties.

Once in this screen, you must filter the Property Manager column to the manager who is leaving. If you don't filter this column, you will not be able to reassign a new manager. You can do this by right clicking their name in the list and selecting 'Equals NAME' or by clicking the black arrow in the column heading, unticking 'Select ALL' and select only the manager who will be removed. If you see this message, then the filter has not been applied:

Once the Property Manager field has been filtered, click the Reassign Property Mgr button.

A white drop down box will appear where you will select the new Property Manager (that the Properties will be reassigned to).

Click the button again. A pop-up box will appear to ask if you want to update the Properties. Click Yes to confirm, or No to discard.

Another pop up box will appear to confirm the Properties have been re-assigned to the selected Manager
